Hair-raising!

No, I havn't sheared a black and white sheep before you ask, this mass of fur is the product of brushing my dog Lassie, I have placed a pack of cards beside it so you can see the true size of the mass lol. Thats not the end of it either, I will be brushing that amount off her every day for 2 weeks at least!, moulting season drives me nuts, we are literally eating, drinking and wearing dog fur throughout the season. Its amazing She has any fur left at the end of it!

I know this will prob sound daft, but you should brush her in the garden and leave the fur in the garden afterwards, the birds will come and take it away to line their nests with :o)

Just make sure you do it when you dont have washing on the line to prevent them leaving you a lil present in return hehe!!

My Dad told me to do the same a couple of years ago, but unfortunatly they didn't take it!, I just ended up having it rolling around my garden like tumbleweed for a month lol

Awww thats a shame, wonder if its the wrong time of year for them.

I love seeing my mum do it with her dogs hair and then watching from the window as the birds flock in hundreds to come and grab some, its quite amazing to watch.
